2026 Spring Break: Dance Workshops

Not going away for Spring Break?  No worries, we've got you covered!  Come dance with us in one of our many workshops.  There's something for everyone.

• Open to current Dance Arts Students and Non Dance Arts Students.  
• $35 per dancer.  Family discount:  register for 2 or more and receive a $5 discount on each additional workshop.

• Payments can be made by credit card, cash, check or Venmo @DanceArts-Merrick (it will say James Dale and have the Dance Arts Logo).  Current pricing reflects a 4% discount.  If paying by credit card, discount prices are not applicable.

Acro Workshops:
This class is designed for students who are interested in learning basic acrobatic skills or advancing existing skills. 
9:30am - 11:00am: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
11:15am - 12:45pm: 4th grade and up

1:00pm - 2:00pm: Lyrical / Contemporary 
This class is designed for dancers 4th grade and up, who are interested in improving their Lyrical/Contemporary technique. One year of tap, jazz or lyrical required.

9:30am - 11:00am: Technique Workshop 
This class is designed for dancers 4th grade and up who are interested in improving their dance technique including strength and conditioning, flexibility, leaps and turns and much more!  One year of tap, jazz or lyrical required.

11:30am - 1:00pm: Broadway Dance Workshop
This class is designed for students 4th grade and up and introduces them to the excitement of musical theater through choreography, character work, and stage presence.  Students learn iconic Broadway style movement, build confidence, and shine like stars on stage. Perfect for dancers looking to explore the magic of Broadway! One year of tap, jazz or lyrical required.

9:30am - 11:00am: Princess Workshop (Pre-K / Kindergarten)
Learn a combination to your favorite princess song, do a craft, and play a game.  Come dressed in your princess best ready to dance!

11:30am - 1:00pm: K-Pop Demon Hunters Workshop (Kindergarten -through 4th grade)
Join us for a K-Pop Demon Hunters Workshop where music, dance, and a little monster-slaying magic collide! Learn fun choreography inspired by your favorite K-Pop styles while stepping into the role of a fearless demon hunter. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just curious, come unleash your inner hero, make new friends, and dance like you're saving the world!  

9:30am - 11:00am: Pop Up Precision Workshop with Miss Tara
This class is designed for dancers 4th grade and up who are interested in learning precision dance technique and Rockette style choreography. One year of either tap, jazz or ballet is required.
