Registration

Registration is now open for all students!

Please review the information on this page, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the appropriate registration button to begin the registration process.

We are still working on finalizing the:

• Acro schedule
• Adult Fitness & Dance, Parent & Me, and Inclusive Dance programs.

For a full description of classes, please visit our Class Details page. Numbers next to class names refer to years of experience in that subject, not age or grade. For example, students in Lyr 2-3 will be in their 2nd or 3rd year of Lyrical.  

A-Beg Tap (tap for 3rd - 5th graders with at least 2 years of tap experience)
A-Beg HH (hip hop for 3rd - 5th graders with at least 2 years of hip hop experience)
I-Beg Jazz (jazz for 4th-6th graders with at least 1 year of jazz)

BEFORE registering for the incorrect class, please email [email protected] with any questions and someone will get back to you regarding appropriate class placement options.

If the class you are interested in is currently closed, please place yourself on the waitlist. If there is enough interest in a particular class, an additional section may be added.

• Start date for classes is Thursday, September 10th
• Pre-K classes are 45 min / Regular classes are 50 min

• Pre-K: Ballet for children 3 and 4 years old. Must be potty trained.
• Kind: Ballet for students entering Kindergarten
• K-1: Ballet for students entering Kindergarten and 1st grade
• Tap 1-2: Tap for students entering 1st grade and 2nd grade
• HH 1-2: Hip Hop for students entering 1st and 2nd grade
• Mod 1-2: Ballet for students entering 1st and 2nd grade
• Cl 1-2: Classical ballet for 2nd graders with previous ballet experience, 3rd and 4th graders
• Jazz 1-2: Jazz for students entering 3rd grade and up
• Lyr 1-2: Lyrical for students entering 4th grade and up

All online registration choices will be reviewed promptly by our staff for appropriate placement and you will be contacted if there are any discrepancies. We will then assist you at that time in selecting the appropriate class placement for your child.

Please see provided fee schedule. Payment must be received within 5 business days of registration, to secure your child’s spot in the class. Families who paid the registration fee with Summer Tuition do not need to pay an additional fee.  Payments can be made by credit card, cash, check or Venmo @DanceArts-Merrick (it will say James Dale and have the Dance Arts Logo).  Current pricing reflects a 4% discount.  Credit card payments must be made in person and discount prices are not applicable. Checks should be made out to Dance Arts.  Please email [email protected] with any questions.

Please contact us at [email protected] for 6 or more classes or if you wish to pay your tuition in full. There is a 5% discount on tuition paid in full at registration.
